At CCK we offer four programs designed to meet the needs of your children. A Two’s Mommy and Me class that meets 1 day-a-week to give your child a structured social opportunity to make friends and play. Our Three’s Program is a 3 day-a-week program for a child’s first independent year in preschool. Our Four’s Program expands on their newly developed skills with deeper exploration of ideas, topics and introduction to academic concepts. Lastly, we offer Transitional-Kindergarten (TK) to those students who wish to have an extra year of growth and play before Kindergarten. These programs are supported by a wealth of weekly enriching programs.

Daily Schedule

CHECK THE BOARD –

Every day at CCK begins with a welcome by a teacher at the door.
There you can read the day’s schedule of activities with your child.

SETTLE INTO CLASS –

Parents help children settle into their day by accompanying them into their class.

OPEN PLAY –

Activities are chosen to support the themes being worked on in the class that day. Children get to choose what activities they wish to explore and are guided by the teachers.

CIRCLE TIME –

Story and discussion led by the teacher.

SNACK –

With fruit provided from the children every week to share with their classmates.

PROJECT –

Usually art based and related to the daily themes from our developmentally appropriate curriculum.

RECESS –

Children can explore two fenced in playgrounds filled with objects that inspire creative play and challenge them through physical activity.

PICK UP –

Parents meet the child at the classroom and have a chance to catch up with teachers and other families.
